American Products is currently seeking a Brake Press Operator (BPO) to join our fast-paced team! The BPO take flat patterns and turn them into three-dimensional works of art, working to ensure we continue to provide a top-notch product to our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install and align dies in a press according to specifications.Position work pieces against the appropriate stops according to instructions.Inspect work pieces to ensure customer specifications are met. Adjust settings if necessary.Keep area clean and maintained at all times.Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned. Interested? Hereand#39;s what we would like to see:Our #1 requirement is a team player, willing to jump in and do what it takes to get the job done for our customers!High school diploma or GED, required.At least one year of manufacturing experience is required.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Must be dependable, able to meet attendance, overtime and other scheduling requirements. This may include working some Saturdays.Must be able to perform work safely, including utilization of all required personal protective equipment. At a minimum, this includes safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.This position requires excessive walking, stooping, bending and some lifting.
