Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

The Senior Director of Banking (SDB) is responsible for driving the overall Private Banking business for the South East Region including banking (credit, deposits, swaps, fx and all associated revenue) sales results, asset quality performance, operational and compliance risk, financial performance and the client experience for banking clients. This individual is the business leader for Wealth Management Private Banking across all delivery channels, communicating the business vision, strategies and results. This position has responsibility for 4 direct reports and a total team of 60+, this individual will:

· Develop a strategic business plan for the region and implement and execute tactics to meet regional banking business goals.

· Partnering with Regional Managing Directors (RMDs) and Regional Private Banking Managers (RPBMs), lead banking sales process to develop new business and prospect opportunities through internal referrals and external prospecting.

· Provide oversight, coaching and education to Regional Private Banking Managers and their teams that include effective delivery of banking solutions that meet and exceed client needs and conform to the risk appetite of the bank.

· Deliver a collaborative, effective, and timely credit underwriting and approval process.

· Provide oversight of the credit underwriting and approval process by directly managing the Loan Team Managers and credit teams for the region.

· Create the tone and environment for a disciplined credit risk management process in their region.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: private banking, corporate banking, or commercial lending

  • 5+ years of management experience
