This job was posted by : For more information, please see: POSITION PURPOSE: To process customer and consumer orders, credits, and returns that are submitted by EDI, fax, email or mail.DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Field customer phone calls along with consumer inquiriesProcess customer and consumer orders that are submitted via EDI, fax, email or mail.Verifies purchase order information from customer to ensure proper quantities and price. If a discrepancy is found, it needs to be brought to the account manager for direction.May inform customer of unit price, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information if requested by account manager.Works with the credit department and notifies account manager(s) of any issues.Scans copy of customer orders at the time of order entryConfers with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or customer personnel to expedite, locate or track missing or delayed shipments. Initiate and process sales adjustment request forms - returns or credit memos.Works with Account Managers for troubleshooting purposesSpecial projects as neededSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Associates Degree with a General Business concentration. 2 years customer service experience in consumer products field. Basic word processing and Excel skills Knowledge of SAP or related system and familiar with EDI systemsExcellent interpersonal and phone skills
