Job Description:

Job Title:

CLO Trader / Junior PM, Vice President in Leverage Finance. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring CLO portfolios, assisting with secondary trading, preparing credit reports, and supporting senior portfolio managers. This person will work closely with senior portfolio managers in evaluating the risk and return profile of CLO securities and investment portfolios.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor market activity and execute secondary trades for CLO sleeves / accounts

  • Generate new-issue and secondary investment recommendations

  • Track and evaluate CLO manager performance data

  • Support the portfolio managers in terms of information flow, trade ideas, and data requests

  • Review legal documentation and trustee reports

  • Analyze underlying credit exposure in CLO accounts

  • Run Intex models and evaluate results by considering quantitative and qualitative factors

  • Build out technology/analytics/infrastructure for global CLO trading

  • Assist in monitoring investment portfolios

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or computer science is required. Progress towards CFA is strongly encouraged.

  • Minimum four years of relevant work experiences in CLOs

  • A technical educational background is a plus

  • Highly-developed analytical and modeling skills with strong background in Excel, Intex, VBA and Bloomberg

  • Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written communication)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Highly disciplined, organized and efficient

  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines

  • Enthusiastic and positive approach to market challenges

  • Ability to think outside the box/model and apply intuition
