We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the President and the executive leadership team for Climate, Controls and Security Residential HVAC business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining schedules for meetings, events and conferences as well as making adjustments based on constantly changing priorities and scheduling conflicts

  • Scheduling domestic travel arrangements and completing detailed meeting and travel itineraries

  • Monitoring and completing electronic expense reports in a timely manner

  • Managing executive’s daily calendar appointments and meetings; Prioritizing appointments based on business impact and urgency

  • Reviewing and prioritizing mail, highlighting important information and follow-up and responding to correspondence as appropriate

  • Consolidating reports and materials for executive meetings, including upcoming business reviews

  • Creating executive PowerPoint presentations including importing pictures and charts

  • Interfacing with all levels of the organization at Carrier, UTC and with external customers in a professional and effective manner

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 5 years of executive secretarial experience

  • Previous experience managing domestic and international travel and filing expense reports

  • Previous experience planning events or key leadership meetings

  • Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships with executive leadership team

  • Superior computer skills in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Exceptional communication, telephone and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to follow through timely on customer requests

  • Ability to professionally handle confidential information

  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and multi-task on a variety of different, sometimes changing assignments

  • Strong attention to detail; accuracy and precision

  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently

  • Superior computer skills in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Team oriented perspective; ability to collaborate in a matrixed, cross functional team

Education:

  • Associate's degree with 5 years of experience
