The Business Operations & Planning organization is critical to the success of the ISG Office of the CTO. The team coordinates the operating rhythm enabling a highly productive organization through collaboration, engagement, and communication. The small team ensures the appropriate processes, tools and metrics/analytics are leveraged to drive the OCTO leadership agenda. The Advisor reports in to the head of business operations and planning & Chief of Staff for the CTO of ISG/Dell EMC. Due to the nature of the role, each of the team members have the benefit of exposure to the executive leadership priorities and many opportunities to directly interact with the senior executive team. Specific responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Publish the operational metrics, data analytics and insights to track progress against KPIs and help leaders run the business
Manage and administer internal productivity, collaboration and tracking tools
Support the operating rhythm and interlock cadence for the organization via reporting, ad-hoc analytics and general material preparation assistance
Provide program management to select projects at the guidance of senior team members
Support communications and engagement efforts as needed, working closely with CTO executive communications team member
Background and experience in business analytics, project management and/or business operations; 4 to 5 years in a related function preferred
Undergraduate degree in either an engineering or relevant liberal arts field; Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred
Demonstrable analytics and large data set management experience (Excel proficiency, familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau a plus)
Ability to operate with some level of ambiguity with a focus on results and operational excellence in execution of multiple, complex tasks
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
