Lockheed Martin Human Resources Senior Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: LM Energy is an organization delivering commercial business products and services in an adjacent marketspace of energy; it consists of over 500 exempt and nonexempt employees across multiple ledgers. The Senior Manager, Human Resources will lead the LM Energy line of business in all human resources strategies and initiatives. Individual will work closely with the VP of LM Energy as well as portfolio directors and senior managers to facilitate and deliver HR initiatives and processes (such as Talent Management Process, Workforce Planning, Merit Planning, Performance Management, promotion planning, rewards and recognition, etc.) to a geographically dispersed client group enabling them to meet their critical business objectives. They will work closely with their HR peers at all MFC locations to coordinate and execute enterprise-wide organizational strategies. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator and a collaborative team player who shares knowledge and best practices to drive organizational efficiency and integration. They should be a self-starter with the ability to effectively influence, drive change, build strong relationships, and become a trusted adviser. They must demonstrate the ability to leverage subject matter experts from HR centers of excellence as well as other functions. They should be able to proactively identify resources, analyze data, formulate actionable recommendations/options and/or propose effective solutions to drive HR and business initiatives to closure. A strong emphasis is placed on talent, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. They will serve as a talent champion who assists in identifying, developing, rotating, and retaining talent. Candidate will work closely with employees to confidentially handle their issues and concerns.

Desired Skills: PHR or SPHR certification.


-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

Broad HR functional skills/experience

-Demonstrated successful strategic HR business partner experience

-Strong employment/labor law knowledge, HR policy administration knowledge, Investigative skills, Coaching and relationship building skills

-Strong Organizational Development and client support background a plus

-Experience developing and executing Talent Management strategies

-Experience leading a team of Human Resources business partners

-Candidate should be able to identify opportunities for HR to engage effectively with management on strategic initiatives, demonstrate Human Resources value and ensure commitments to corporate initiatives are met

-Excel skills

-Ability to travel 25% or more as needed
