Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Exciting opportunity to work on the IFG Lab Hardware System Integration Laboratories (SIL) team, which is a part of the Labs and Technical Services (L&TS) organization. L&TS is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

For this position the candidate will be responsible for the

mechanical design of the IFG Hardware Simulation Lab environments including mechanical design, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, parts lists, configuration management, procurement, vendor coordination, fabrication liaison, checkout, troubleshooting, and integration. Includes stress and thermodynamic analysis as required.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a Secret government security clearance updated within the last 5 years to start.

Desired Skills: CATIA V5, MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, AutoCAD, DATABASE Applications Knowledge

Must be a highly motivated, energetic, self-starter and possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.


Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Degree

Experience with interpretation/development of Computer Aided Engineering Design and Parts Lists
