Position Purpose:

The Stock Availability Analyst is responsible for managing the execution of stock allocation and communication and coordination of short stock issues that affect orders and Customer Service Levels.

Let’s talk about main responsibilities:

  • Manage the allocation of stock to cover current sales orders across all customers through the efficient use of the SAP Available to Promise (GATP) application. Monitor and recommend customer master changes to local Customer Development Team & CS&L for review as required to execute the customer segmentation strategy.

  • Identify direct ship opportunities and coordinate overrides to plants after follow-up and agreement with Supply Planning and Customer Service.

  • Maintain consistent daily contacts with Supply Planning, local Demand Planning, and Logistics to identify and resolve short stock issues and manage allocation of existing inventory and inbounds to current orders.

  • Participate in weekly "Root Cause" analysis and identify corrective actions that may be taken to avoid unnecessary future cuts in coordination with Supply Planning. Communicate weekly Customer Service Representatives related issues

What you need for this position:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration

  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service/ Order Fulfillment, Planning, Sales, Logistics or Supply Chain.

  • English: Effective and fluent oral and written communication skills

  • Advanced Excel

  • 10% Travel

Additional knowledge/experience:

  • Experience with SAP (APO)

  • Experience in consumer goods companies
