Job Description: * Requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role.

  • Requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills.

  • Works well with competing priorities and possess strong project management skills

  • Works effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Preparation for CMO meetings and daily matters (e.g. CMO meetings with firm Senior Leadership team/peers, Partnership Board members, Marketing Leadership team (MLT) /members, peer to peer, daily matters, etc.). The CMO analysist is accountable to ensure that the CMO is well prepared to actively contribute to meetings and daily matters. The CMO analyst is accountable to ensure that matters requiring the CMO’s attention are attended to in a timely manner to ensure an exceptional level of service. The responsibility requires management of logistics and priorities within the CMO’s broader areas of focus.

  • Coordination/orchestration of projects or commitments directly involving the CMO . The CMO analyst will be responsible for ‘going deep’ on a relatively limited number of projects. The CMO analyst will also need to have a high-level of understanding of projects and timing of deliverables across marketing.

  • Independent leadership or special CMO – initiated projects, reporting, and analytics. While the vast majority of CMO – initiated projects will be assigned to members of the MLT, some confidential or time sensitive issues will need to reside within the office of the CMO and be managed by the CMO analyst in collaboration with the CMO.

    Administrative responsibilities:

  • Maintain CMO travel schedule, approve CMO expense reports and oversee very busy CMO scheduling / calendaring.

  • The CMO analyst will facilitate / organize CMO management routines.

  • Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the CMO’s commitments. This responsibility involves elevating issues the CMO should be aware of and the associated risk. The CMO analyst may be asked to creatively identify alternative means of handling pressing matters.

  • Development of draft communication on behalf of the CMO. Collaborate with the CMO to draft firm-wide and leadership communications. Draft and send follow up correspondence related to the CMO’s various meetings, partners, staff messages, MLT messages, and internal and external presentations (eGT, FLM, etc.). The CMO’s analyst does not act for the CMO.

  • Support the CMO’s communications with the marketing team. The CMO analyst will help facilitate CMO communications with the MLT, MLT , Top Talent and other marketing teammates.
