Description: The candidate for this position will be a member of the Deployed Reentry Systems supporting the United Kingdom Trident Reentry System. Major responsibilities include supporting the Specification and interface, Trials, and In Service Subcommittees of the Joint Reentry Systems Working Group. The candidate will be responsible for US/UK Compatibility Assessment of UK Mk4A/ARA RBA, will ensure conformance of UK RBA build practices, engineering standards and provide on-site assessment of UK production procedures. Candidate will provide technical analysis of UK MK4 and MK4A trial data, oversight and coordination of flight sciences support, US/UK Requirements Origination and Verification, UK Operational Support and Trending. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
*9 years of professional experience or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
*Deployed reentry systems knowledge.
*Experience working with government customers.
*Excels in developing successful relationships with colleagues and customers.
*Demonstrated ability in Systems Engineering across the program lifecycle.
*Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Top Secret security clearance, must have final secret to start.
*Ability to travel to the United Kingdom for approximately 8 weeks per year.
*Experience with the United States (US) Mk4/Mk4A and UK Mk4/Mk4A is desired.
*Detailed knowledge of tactical nuclear reentry bodies desired..
*Experience working with United Kingdom customers.
