MAIN JOB PURPOSE

Unilever Sustainable Home Solutions Division is looking for a Supply Chain Program Manager to join the Global Supply Chain team, a team responsible for delivering strategic supply chain programs such as Global Savings Program, Sourcing Network and Strategy, Innovation Acceleration Program to our e2e Supply Chain in Clusters.

We are looking for a Manager to

  • Run our Program Management for Controlled Cost for Manufacturing, Logistics and SC overheads.

  • Develop Sustainable Home Solutions’ 5-year Manufacturing & Sourcing Strategy.

  • Develop 3PM Strategy and associated overall business strategy

This critical role will bring external thinking to the mentioned priorities with associated business outcome. This role will own the process of governing the projects, by ensuring they are submitted, prioritized and measured; and will provide progress reports to Division’s SC Leadership Team. To be successful this role will require close partnership with Cluster SC Heads, Finance, Manufacturing Excellence, Logistics Excellence in Sustainable Home Solutions Division.

This role is critical towards realising the Home Solutions Division’s Supply Chain vision of next level of Controlled Cost and Sourcing Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven capability to foster and manage relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders to set and manage expectations while achieving successful program outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY

Unilever Sustainable Home Solutions Division targets to reduce Controlled Cost, this role plays a key role in driving the global program with Excellence teams and Clusters in achieving this target.

  • Coordinate Global Manufacturing Program with World Class Manufacturing Excellence (Manex) Team and Cluster Supply Chain Leads and ensures key global programs such as Cobots (Automation), Maintenance, Energy and Work Place Organisation land in cluster programs as well as Sustainable Home Solutions specific programs such as Design-to-Manufacture.

  • Coordinates Global Logistics Program with Logistics Excellence (Logex) Team and Cluster Supply Chain Leads and ensures key global programs such as Accelerated Buying Savings, Operate Efficiently, Load More, Travel Less land in cluster programs as well as Sustainable Home Solutions specific programs such as Direct Dispatch and Design-to-Distribute.

In line with Asset Strategy of Unilever, Sustainable Home Solutions would like to land sourcing strategy and agree the execution plan with Clusters in order to create value that is cash and profits for years to come. This role supports two key areas:

  • Participates on Unilever project teams in support of shaping and developing outsourcing/insourcing strategy thinking.

  • Works with Cluster SCs, R&D, Procurement, external consultants and Legal and develops a list of Suppliers, 3Ps or Partners to be considered by senior SC team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain discipline such as Procurement. MBA preferred

  • Experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning ability

  • Extensive, proven experience of broad based Supply Chain responsibilities, procurement and/or strategy experience preferred.
