GPPS (Global Product and Portfolio Strategy) bridges science and commercial, integrating corporate, portfolio, therapy areas and product strategies, providing strategic direction from early-stage research through to commercialization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Global Marketing Operations Manager is part of Global Commercial Operations, deployed and reporting to the Global Market Planning Leader (Enterprise). The Global Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for leading change management and training activities to support key Marketing Operations platforms and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include creation and development of training materials, core communications, delivery of user training, including leading the project management of various work streams which impact the Global Market planning team.
As Global Marketing Operations Manager, you will gather, monitor, synthesize, and prioritize customer feedback and content from across the business through various channels for core customer communications, and ensure critical stakeholders and leaders are informed of upcoming events and key initiatives being driven from within Global Market Planning. As a Global Marketing Operations Manager, you are a subject matter expert in key platforms and enabled processes that support both the US and global business. Additionally you will deliver live or virtual training of key platforms and supporting business processes to both internal and external users in either a large or small classroom setting, including 1:1 sessions.
In the role of Global Marketing Operations Manager you will provide proactive and reactive support for targeted customers and understand opportunities where further outreach with training or communications is needed; aid in the development of operational communication plans for key Global Market planning led improvement initiatives and act as point of contact across key business interfaces (i.e. Portfolio Planning Team, Production Services, Commercial Brand Teams, Agency Partners, etc.)
Additional accountabilities include creating and providing continuous updates to platform training materials and core business process documents; providing strategic project management support as needed for business critical programs and activities as determined by Global Market Planning leadership; validating, analyzing and interpreting training metrics and feedback collected to develop insights that may improve further outcomes.
Education certificate/degree, or training experience background
Demonstrated ability to develop training materials
Demonstrated understanding of the Asset Development, Review & Delivery (ADRD) process, including Veeva Vault PromoMats
Strong presentation/oral and written communication skills and customer focus, including organizational awareness and proven stakeholder management
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and relationships with internal and external stakeholders that can facilitate productive discussions and drive change
Ability to work in a team environment, and between teams, as well as across reporting lines and matrix structures
Independent worker with demonstrated trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Ability to drive a project/program composed of both business and technology components to a successful outcome
Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, including how to design templates
Strong change management experience and stakeholder management skills
Ability to develop/manipulate reports in excel and conduct analytics to support planning and decision-making
Prior experience and proficiency with major AZ Marketing platforms (e.g., Atlas, Veeva)
Project management experience
Prior experience and proficiency with Atlas Approval, Planning, and Content Centre
Experience with Storyline Articulate, or other creative design programs
