PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Road Maps organization is part of the Cloud Business Group board area which combines global sales and ecosystem and channels activities to further strengthen SAP’s go-to-market approach by fostering customer relationships and accelerating value delivery

The team is responsible for driving and maintaining the transformation of SAP’s roadmaps for our customer across our 25 industries, all lines of businesses (LoB) as well as SAP’S products and technology. Hereby our mission is to provide consistent, clear direction to our customers at any time. Our customer centric roadmaps will be based on clear governance built into an integrated tool suite. Within this context, it is instrumental to ensure the required content and information is available at highest quality at any time.

This job assignment focuses on assisting with the production and roll out of road maps, developing enablement material, creating reporting and assisting with customer events.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Expectations:

  • Collaborate and work jointly with the local team, the global team, and related stakeholders

  • Can independently drive initiatives and tasks end-to-end

  • Contribute to and support the work of your team members and the overall deliverables of the team, as required

Responsibilities (one or more of the following):

  • Review and provide qualitative feedback on product road map documents

  • Participate in the roll-out of the product road map process, including monitoring the update review cycle and developing wiki or community based resources to support the process

  • Participate in and support the delivery of internal knowledge transfer sessions for Product Managers

  • Providing accurate quality and status reports

  • Support customer-facing webinars related to product road maps

  • Support of overall team activities as required

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • currently enrolled Student at a University or University of Applied Sciences (FH) in the Area of Commerce, Marketing, or Business ideally combined with a Technology Diploma, Computer Science Degree, or related

  • Language Skills: fluent in English and German

  • Solid know how of MS Office products - Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point

  • Experience working with portal and collaboration technologies (SAP Corporate Portal, Jam) is a benefit

  • Is a big picture thinker who can conceptualize and solve problems that span relevant disciplines and domains

  • Can independently drive initiatives

  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Likes to work in a team environment, driving initiatives independently and jointly

  • Likes to contribute to the plans and activities of other team members

  • Likes to interact and have fun in the team

  • Nice to have some knowledge of our SAP products

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the context of some or all of the following beneficial:

  • project management,

  • product management,

  • solution management,

  • customer support,

  • other product development or customer related roles.

  • SAP product experience is beneficial
