Job Responsibilities

Performs routine and repetitive accounting duties in the area of accounts payable.

Timely filing of all vendor invoices, payments and other accounting documents.

Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.

Matches and enters invoices, accounts receivables and other accounting documents.

Matches invoice to check and prepares for mailing or deposit.

Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment.

Communicates with vendors and customers regarding invoices, statements and payments due and conducts research necessary to resolve issue.

Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, invoices, statements, procedures, and services.

Provides accounting assistance to ports in reconciling and payment of their invoices.

Cross-trains in additional responsibilities.

Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior Accounting experience preferred.
