Lead production activities overseeing the integration of C4I equipment into a variety of military vehicles. The position will be fast paced with an emphasis on throughput. Familiarity with electro-mechanical assemblies is a plus. This position is schedule driven and requires coordination with multiple manufacturing teams. Furthermore, this position requires heavy interaction with material management, quality, supplier, and customer functions. This position is located in the United Arab Emirates for a duration of at least 12 months. Ability to relocate is required.
Manage daily logistics and workflow to ensure maximized throughput
Provide technical evaluation inputs for all program needs both internal to Harris and for our suppliers. Support may include but not be limited to estimating the scope of efforts, development of program plans, and creation of an integrated master schedule.
Plan, coordinate and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance (CAM) for the assigned program effort. Collaboration with the program team with emphasis on achievement of cost and schedule targets.
Develop and maintain capacity analysis for internal and supplier needs. Coordinate kit drops and work with Material Management to minimize production down time.
Work with UAE military personnel to address issues and coordinate assets
Prepare plans, reports and presentations to communicate to Customers, other team members and subcontractors. Effectively communicate and direct non-US personnel.
Analyze internal and external operations to assess risks (cost, schedule and technical performance) as well as opportunities, developing risk mitigation plans, and taking corrective action when risks/opportunities are identified
Support lean/process improvement initiatives of technical and operational nature
Support root cause and corrective action processes
Design and develop manufacturing tools, strategies and systems
Plan and manage manpower/equipment/process resources
Work alongside Quality, Test, and Reliability Engineering functions to achieve common program and operational goals
Review and approve drawing and parts lists revision updates

Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace or industrial engineering with a minimum of 6+ years industry experience.
Hands-on experience with Box Build Electro-Mechanical Assemblies.
Six-Sigma Certification – Green Belt Minimum
Ability to relocate to United Arab Emirates for 12 month minimum duration
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience using Earned Value Management System and integrated product teams.
Background in the manufacturing of electronics for military and government systems, with a special focus on vehicle integration
Background in fast paced production manufacturing environment
Background in developing/improving manufacturing processes
Familiarity with root cause and corrective action analysis tools for use towards manufacturing process problems, workmanship defects, mechanical test failures, etc.
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or working knowledge of Lean/Process Improvement tools.
Good communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to peers, management, and customers
Proven record of successfully setting accomplishments at targeting and achieving results, prioritizing tasks, overcoming obstacles, establishing team standards and responsibilities and creating a results-focused environment
