Oracle Sales Operation / Business Analyst in Overland Park, Kansas

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

TheSalesOperation / Business Analystwill be a key member of the North AmericaSales Operation team for the Oracle Communications (OC) Business Unit.

_Primary duties_

  • Support regional Sales Operations Director andSales VP in forecast calls utilizing Oracle tools and methodologies whilemanaging the supporting documentation for cross functional sessions.

  • Liaison between the regional Sales Team andSupport functions for Order Bookings and Revenue forecast.

  • Support Oracle s Sales enablement objectivesthrough individual and team coaching with reps & ensure compliance withOracle processes.

  • Produce regional presentation for executiverecurring meetings.

  • Participate in educating and training theRegional sales team with respect to Forecasting, Sales Playbook development,behavioral reporting (e.g. forecast accuracy).

  • Monitor sales funnel health and provide inputfor accurate bookings and revenue forecast, notably provide guidance toRegional Sales Management to challenge deal timing within funnel to meet/exceedbooking and revenue objectives.

  • Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyzedata to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.

  • Provide updates to management regarding budgetto actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide managementwith economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisionsand/or deals.

  • Assist in quota setting annual exercise.

  • Manage complex projects and derive executivewrite up with associated action items.

  • Continuously identify areas for improvement andoptimization.

_KeyQualifications_

  • 2-5 years of experience in business, salesoperations, finance or business process.

  • MBA preferred

  • Oracle working experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable with OSC and Oracle forecastmethodology, understanding the overall Oracle sales process, be familiarwith oracle sales tools (CPQ, Q, OIP, etc.) is a plus

  • Ability to collect, organize, and display datain spreadsheet format.

  • Relationship management skills strongly desired.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skill set is a must.

  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitiveprojects simultaneously.

  • Self-starter and ability to execute day-to-daywith limited supervision.

  • Bias towards action, anticipation, taking thenext step and a can do attitude.

  • Understanding of US GAAP Revenue recognitionprinciples is a plus.

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
