As a Shift Supervisor you will be required to lead a Plant Team responsible for the manufacture of a cancer drug, in a highly regulated sterile manufacturing environment. You will ensure that you are driving short term production execution to meet customer demand whilst ensuring all compliance requirements are met. Actions/improvements will be carried out to drive the production execution and, along with ‘on the job’ supervision of the operating teams, the role will support the long term improvement strategies of the PET team. The role also encompasses certain aspects of asset care and maintenance.

Providing clear leadership, direction and development, you will be an inspiring leader and will coach continuous improvement and development so that individuals and the team achieve their fullest potential.
You will manage the short term planning for your area which will include resource planning and working collaboratively with other operating teams and business areas.
You will be responsible for the production schedule execution whilst maintaining and enforcing the relevant SHE and GMP standards. This will also include responsibility for the key GMP documentation to support batch release and GMP compliance.
The role is within a performance driven environment and requires an ability to effectively prioritise across diverse and competing customer needs to maintain team motivation and output whilst under pressure.
In addition you will be accountable for aspects of asset care and maintenance for example Safe Systems of Work procedure responsibilities, auditing and clean down planning.
Ideally you will hold a qualification in a Science or Business discipline and will have proven line management or supervisory experience within a regulated or manufacturing industry.
Previous experience of leading and supervising production teams is essential as is knowledge of Safe Systems of Work procedures.
An effective problem solver you should have the ability to coach and embed Lean Manufacturing Principles and to apply Best Practice in your decisions.
