Kforce Inventory Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Kforce's client in Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking for an Inventory Accountant.Responsibilities will include:

  • Generating inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances

  • Performing landed cost calculations

  • Verifying accurate standard costs

  • Monitoring inventory transactions

  • Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger

  • Understanding of inventory item, balance sheet and cost of goods sold

  • Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required

  • A minimum of four years of experience as an Inventory or Cost Accountant

  • Great Plains experience is a must

  • An understanding of GAAP in relation to inventory

  • Public Accounting experience preferred

  • Is flexible and able to work as part of a team

  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
