Company Description:

Antheus Capital is a growing private equity real estate firm focused on the acquisition, development and redevelopment of apartment properties in select supply-constrained submarkets located throughout the United States. Mac Property Management and Silliman Group are two affiliated companies. Today the portfolio consists of approximately 7,000 units and 400,000 square feet of commercial space. The companies specialize in historic renovation of apartment housing currently located in urban markets in the Midwest.

The role is located in our company Headquarters, just outside of Manhattan in Englewood, New Jersey, 10 minutes across the George Washington Bridge.

Overall Responsibility:

The Acquisitions and Capital Markets Analyst is responsible for underwriting and closing new acquisitions and dispositions, securing debt financing, and evaluating the performance of current and future investments. The candidate will be required to think critically, communicate effectively, apply financial analysis skills, and will gain a comprehensive understanding of all stages of the real estate investment lifecycle. Additionally, the Analyst will have the opportunity to engage in significant interaction with the founders and principals of the firm.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and maintain valuation and acquisition development models to assess investment decisions.

  • Conduct business, legal, and financial due diligence on potential acquisitions.

  • Prepare market analysis reports, including vacancy, absorption, and rent/expense/sales comps.

  • Produce asset, portfolio, and fund-level analyses to be distributed internally and externally.

  • Compile internal financial data for distribution to potential lenders and investors.

  • Assist in helping grow an expanding real estate private equity fund.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field, demonstrating strong academic performance.

  • 0-1 years experience in a financial analysis role is required. Internships in real estate or investment banking industry is a plus.

  • Understanding of real estate financial concepts including valuation, operations, and debt/equity financing

  • Classwork or experience creating financial models and use of Excel (including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and precision in analytical assessments.

  • Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and balance workload.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.
