Physical Inspection of Production Aircraft Parts and Assemblies
Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
Ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is current.
Assist manufacturing personnel to evaluate current work instruction and identify opportunities to correct and improve any documents or instructions relating to the Value Stream or Manufacturing Process.
Interact with the Company's ERP system to understand production schedules and to validate Acceptance and Rejections.
Assist in RMA and MRR processes to ensure timely resolution.
Continually review and evaluate the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that proper and necessary corrections and enhancements are made.
Program and Operate Laser Tracker utilizing PC-DMIS to verify parts meet engineering specification
Utilize Laser Tracker to complete period inspections on production tooling

High School or better.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification, including GD&T
2 years: Relevant experience with machined parts inspection
1 year: PC - DMIS experience
1 year: Must be able to program and operate Laser Tracker Machine
